Miralis Takes Part in the Very First Edition of DADA Montréal

On October 1 and 2, 2026, Montréal will host the very first edition of DADA, a new event dedicated to design, architecture, and contemporary creativity.
For Miralis, taking part in this new initiative felt like a natural fit, bringing together a community with whom we share the same passion: creating distinctive, lasting, and deeply human spaces.
Over the course of two days, DADA will bring together architects, designers, artisans, creators, and companies through original installations, conversations, and experiences that invite visitors to discover design from a different perspective.
A Creative Collaboration with APPAREIL architecture
For this first edition, DADA has imagined a series of creative pairings, bringing together companies and industry professionals to create installations designed specifically for the event.
Miralis is fortunate to be paired with APPAREIL architecture, a Montréal-based firm with whom we already share a strong history of collaboration.
Our worlds have notably come together through several residential projects for Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, where APPAREIL architecture helped shape spaces that reflect her personality, while Miralis cabinetry was seamlessly integrated into that architectural vision.
This new collaboration for DADA therefore feels like a natural continuation: another opportunity to bring together architecture, design, and manufacturing expertise through a shared creative approach.

Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse, a Familiar Face in the Miralis World
The connection is even more meaningful as Sarah-Jeanne Labrosse sera la porte-parole de cette toute première édition de DADA. It is an association that resonates particularly strongly with Miralis.
Over the past several years, Sarah-Jeanne and Miralis have built a relationship that goes far beyond a one-time collaboration. Her own kitchen, entirely manufactured by Miralis in Rimouski, notably features Chaga Walnut and White Silk FENIX, in a space designed to stand the test of time.
That kitchen later became the starting point for one of the most memorable campaigns in Miralis’ history: La nouvelle cuisine de Donalda. The advertising campaign went on to earn both a Gold and a Silver award at Québec’s IDÉA contest.
Seeing Sarah-Jeanne now become the spokesperson for an event dedicated to design and architecture, while Miralis collaborates with APPAREIL architecture for the occasion, gives this first edition a particularly special meaning for us.

A Space Designed to Bring People Together
Our participation in DADA is also an opportunity to showcase Miralis’ expertise from a different perspective.
For this collaboration with APPAREIL architecture, the goal was not to recreate a traditional kitchen or residential environment, but rather to imagine a lively, welcoming space designed to encourage conversation and connection.
From the earliest stages, the installation was conceived as a natural gathering place at the heart of the event, where visitors, architects, designers, and creators can stop, connect, and fully enjoy the DADA experience.
This intention guided APPAREIL architecture’s approach, from the organization of the space to the selection of volumes and materials. Miralis cabinetry becomes more than a functional element: it helps create a welcoming experience where design and human interaction come together.
It is a different way of putting our expertise at the service of a simple idea: creating spaces that bring people closer together.
Join Us on October 1 and 2
We can’t wait to share the installation imagined by Miralis and APPAREIL architecture for this very first edition.
A project that brings together several stories already in motion and gives us the opportunity to write a new chapter alongside a creative community that continues to inspire us.
